<lj:music>Whatever the roommate is watching on TV</lj:music>

I love them. A whole lot.
The show last night was AWESOME! I had such a blast!
I met becky there at around 6 and we waited in line for an hour.
I kept getting nervous that they would sell out last minute but the show was far from packed.
We got front row...The Recher had that stupid barricade up. UGH.
The girl next to me recognized me from the Rams Head Marc show so that was awesome, I love meeting new people :)
The show actually started 15 minutes early.
I'm pretty sure it was cause they were pretty confident no one else was gonna show up haha.
First up was Kate Earl and she played for a half hour.
She had a really nice voice. A voice nice enough to put me to sleep cause she was uber boring!
Except the first song she sang with Wertz was awesome but that was just cause Wertz was up there and it was about being drunk.
Next up was Matt of the Wertz persuasion. He was so fun and has a GREAT voice.
He's got this gritty tone that I did not expect, but love!
He played for a good 45 minutes but should've gotten at least an hour!
While we waited for Matt to come on, his guitarist, Aaron, and tour manager, Carey (I got a lesson on the band member's names) were trying to fix his pedals for about 20 minutes.
Then when Matt came out, all that was wrong was that the volume wasn't up. HA.
Matt was hilarious as always.
As he said, there was a "weird vibe" on stage when they came out, so he chucked the setlist and played whatever the fuck he and the audience wanted.
I had never seen such great interaction between an artist and the crowd.
And I have also never experienced such a respectful and great crowd.
The night couldn't have gone any better!
Matt sang a lot of covers including Madonna, Enrique Iglesias, R. Kelly, Grease, and the list goes on...
After the show Becky and I got to talk to Wertz who was really sweet then Nathanson made our way over to us.
He got to second with Becky and screamed it.
Then I experienced my very first Matty hug...the BEST hug I've ever gotten in my life :)
He was so sweet and appreciative and I can't wait until the next time I see either one of them...they made a fan for life!

On the school side of my life, I have a shitload to do so I better get on that.

NEXT UP: MARC AT STARR HILL!!!!

So I had a pretty uneventful weekend...just hung out around the dorm.
Had an episode last night but thanks to some good, no, best friends, I made it through :)
My fucking printer only works with Epson brand ink cartridges...gay.
Was outside talking to Dani and Kerry for a while today watching them play lax...as boring as it sounds, it was fun as shit. It feels SO good outside this time of year :)
I'm just uber excited for the 28th of Oct. and want it to get here basically right now!
I have learned that teachers giving exams during the Jewish holidays do not yield good results...extra credit, here I come!
Dinner tonight was weird...Lauren tried to salt Jen and Dani's mashed potatos from the opposite side of the table. I put a napkin over my food.
I should be doing homework and/or studying right now but I just don't feel like it.
11/17 is a go :) SO excited!
I will prob get my math test back tomorrow...if I don't report on it, don't ask haha.
I am sitting here in a sweatshirt with my hood on. Last time I checked, it doesn't rain indoors. Hmmm.
I think I'm gonna go to Record and Tape Traders and get Brandi Carlile and/or Tristan Prettyman's cds. I love them both dearly.
I'm still trying to find someone to go to the Matt Nathanson/Matt Wertz show (Recher) with...if you know anyone, I'm taking applications :)
According to Daisy and Becky, it's a show I DON'T wanna miss, so I'm gonna try my hardest!

I'm broke and it sucks. The End.

The most stressful week of my life is OVER!!!
Econ quiz was ok, I think I got a 1 though...whatever, we can throw out the worst 3.
Don't have any plans for the weekend so far, but I best get on that!

Found out from D yesterday that Marc is headlining in Charlottesville with GIBB DROLL BAND and Brandi Carlile opening.
It's very important that I find a way to get to this seeing as how these are my most favorite people in the world (especially newcomer Brandi-she was AWESOME live! And then Gibb is just a given.)

My dorm has been extremely messy for the past few days. But I will excuse myself seeing as how this was the worst week ever.
I think for the rest of the day I'm gonna get my math homework over with and clean up a lot.

It's rainy out and nasty...but I just got a phone call from my momma and she's gonna take me out to lunch and shopping :)
She knows the way to my heart.

This morning went surprisingly smooth! The whole math test was 4 rather easy, but lengthy questions. The only thing I regret is not eating breakfast...my stomach was growling like no one's business during the test.
But, I'm thinking I did ok, I will keep everyone updated :)

So now my plans for the rest of the day:
-make an appt. with my advisor for next semester's schedule already
-eat lunch
-go to post office to pick up my 783 Wall Street Journals and mail a letter
-perhaps go to the library to research education. ugh.
-write my education paper due tomorrow :-\
-read chapter 5 for econ.
-study for chapter 5 quiz

yea, still stressed!
NOTE TO SELF: never procrastinate again. ever.

I woke up this morning in pain. I'm a girl, it happens.
I took a shower at 8:15 (I never take showers in the morning...weird) and had class at 9.
Got through my painfully long english and econ classes then crammed for my EMF test.
It wasn't TERRIBLY hard but there were some things I definitely guessed at. (yes, Aijra, I ended with a preposition...don't hate me)
I'm gonna grab something to eat, do my hair, head off to Jew Night #3 with the fam then come back here and cram some more for my first math exam. oy.
This week is super stressful and I can NOT wait until it's over!
I'm in need of some good concerts.
